Back to work and school after the Labor Day weekend, so time to dive in and see what technologies people are hiring for. Python won for the 8th time this year and 6th month in a row. React is still more popular than JavaScript, coming in 2nd overall again. The cloud is looking strong with AWS at #4, while Ruby on Rails retains its foothold on web application development with another top 5 finish.
On the other hand, September marks the 3rd straight month of Year-over-year total posting declines and the lowest number of postings since April. Can the number of jobs posted bounce back? We'll see what happens as we move into the Fall and Winter months.
